I did four years in walla walla a prison in wa state.. it was minimum custody, but it still sucked cause it just was noisy , just a feeling of angst, and menace .. I was transferred to airway heights which was an old man’s pod I was put in.. my celly was a older dude who was really nice guy , we had are arguments but general was cool!! I got out in august 2023, I been out ten months and no problems! Not on paper at all, but I still think about him( my vlcell mate) he was 63 and not getting out till 2034.. in other words he’ll die in prison probably !! I get a really weird feeling when I think about it.. I’m lucky , he’s not, of course he was a convicted murderer, killed his own mother!!.. I trip on it every day! I’m blessed.

Idk why but this seems like a show about why we shouldent have prisons trust me some of the people are completley capabale of rehabilitation. Me being one of them some of these people we dont want back on the streets its a acceptable evil.. keep your head on and stay out of the box. And be a better you society wants and needs you. I know this video is a few years old but I urge any parent to consider getting a gene test done on your child before they start taking medication to help treat their mental health our son has adhd and we went through hell trying talk therapy and medication. This has been going on since he was 5 he’s now almost 11 no doctor ever suggested a gene test until about a month ago. The test revealed that 2 of the medication he was taking were not being metabolized by his body appropriately and were making him worse.

I spent from the age of 14 til 32 years old in juvenile centers then county jail then state prison! I did time in Allegheny County in Pittsburgh Pa which is one of the largest co jails under one roof in the us its also one of the most fucked up! Watching this im reminded of how i have ptsd because of incarceration! Reform is needed so bad in our justice system there is no rehabilitation! All forms of abuse happen in our system and it is beyond a mess and its sad its at the expense of humans beings! Im happy to say i made it out and havent been locked up in 7 years after over half my life being locked up! I had to change or the system was gonna kill me!

I went to jail one time in Goshen NY .. never went back..i had my own cell it was clean...out the cell was workout equipment 72' tv and i was called out by my last name King for breakfast lunch and dinner also a shower not bad is why people don't mind going back to some jails/prisons smh

Reading George Jackson while in Prison changed me, seeing his letters to his family, brung something personal to me. Outside of that, he inspired me to be revolutionary with his witty words and bravery. This same charisma, i now bring to Christ.

I know there is reclining and discrimination and an inability to accumulate and transfer wealth down to younger generations and the Gov imo should have massive social programs where they pick 5 random really bad ghettos in America and INTELLIGENTLY AND RIGOUROUSLY PUSH TONA OF MONEY into these communities to create things for the kids to do, work and apprentice programs and anything else that doesn't promote bullshit ganglife or them standing on the corner not doing shut but looking for trouble. We need a well orchestrated plan...but were America and dammit we can do it... Also We need to call out the violent criminals for what they are a small minority of the black community that are hideous vicious immoral criminals that make all other black people look dangerous and Ghetto. These violent cowardly gang thugs that shoot at houses and end up shooting bullets with no care for human life, into 11 month old babies. These ppl must NEVER have excuses made for their behavior because there are WAYYYY MORE POVERTY STRICKEN PLACES AROUND THE GLOBE compared to even the worst hoods of America and the violence u see there is almost non existent. Yes statistically and just rationally being poor will make you desperate and being desperate will make people break the law but there's a big difference between stealing a loaf of bread to survive and shooting up an entire house full of people because they threw up the wrong finger signal. But anyways we need programs to fix these ghettos instead of b******* and complaining about the horrible and racist and evil policies are the past because Lord knows America had him. But if you look at it from this perspective while we were doing red lining Stalin was killing tens of millions of people. So even though it's bad compared to what other countries were doing around this time and even what other countries are doing now compared to background We are not that bad of a country at all
